Why OurVision?

The (biennial) Eurovision productions – including the Eurovision Song Contest, the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Eurovision for Young Musicians, Eurovision Young Dancers and, from 2017, the Eurovision Choir Competition – are for EVERYONE.

That’s why we’ve created a multimedia platform, OurVision International, that speaks to everyone, is for everyone, and gives you a little more about the background to the productions, the preparations of each nation for the competitions, and not just in the few weeks when we talk about them a lot: we keep Eurovision on the move all year round with our programmes – all factual, yet entertaining.

Hungary’s leading, unique multi-platform, multimedia format

On OurVision.tv, you can follow the latest news and events from the Eurovision Network in three formats via our umbrella site: in addition to current news and information, our portal also features Eurovision-related professional articles and summaries, but we also add further depth to this theme with our video reports. OurVision FM Magyarország is a 24/7 online radio channel, which operates on public service principles, and also dedicates its programmes and music selections to the Song Contest, but we do this by supporting artists linked to the live events of the Eurovision Network.

To plan the production, we looked at the national and international television, radio and online markets, and looked at what content and how they cover live coverage, various events and entertainment content from the Eurovision Network. We found that OurVision is currently implementing a unique format for the coverage of the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) live programmes.
