Eurovision Week 2024 kicks off – Elecktra and Tia Kofi will host the Opening Ceremony of this year’s Eurovision
The Turquoise Carpet event that kicks off Eurovision week just got a lot more glamourous, with Elecktra and Tia Kofi confirmed to be on hosting duties.
One’s a Skåne siren, the other a UK Hun, and both have risen to fame through the Drag Race franchise. Now, two of the drag world’s most beloved personalities are heading to the Eurovision Song Contest to help us get to know our 2024 artists a little bit better.
The Turquoise Carpet is an annual event in the Host City, which also serves as the official Opening Ceremony to start the week of Eurovision Song Contest Live Shows.
Malmö 2024’s Turquoise Carpet will be held on Sunday 5 May, and broadcast live via both the Eurovision Song Contest YouTube channel and a TikTok live on the Eurovision account on the platform. The show kicks off at approximately 15:30 CEST and will be set at the recently constructed Malmö Live.
