Voting in 2022 at the American Song Contest

Voting at the American Song Contest will follow strict rules similar to those of the Eurovision Song Contest, but will be based on a mix of technologies used at the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and the Melodifestivalen, as well as on the social networks currently available. Overseas viewers can vote in three ways:

• On the official NBC app (after registration and entering a postcode**)
• NBC’s online voting platform (after registration and entering your postcode**); and
• via the official TikTok site of the American Song Contest.

A total of 10 votes can be cast for performers through all voting platforms,

** “If a user enters a zip code that covers two states, to complete the NBCUniversal Profile registration process, the user must select one of the two possible states that the zip code entered corresponds to.”

Broadcasts – The American Song Contest in Europe

The American Song Contest broadcasts are not only available overseas, broadcasters in several European countries will also broadcast/publish individual programmes according to the following schedule (individual broadcasters reserve the right to change programme times):
