Interval Acts

As is Eurovision Song Contest tradition, our reigning champion Nemo will return to the Eurovision stage to remind us exactly why they took home that trophy in 2024, when they won with The Code.

During the Flag Parade procession, the 26 finalists will take to the stage while the Basel Police Brass Band plays remixes of Swiss hits.

Interval Acts will feature performances by former Swiss participants such as Peter, Sue and Marc (CHE71, 76, 79, 81), Paola (CHE69, 80), Luca Hänni (CHE19) and Gjon’s Tears (CHE Q20, 21), a joint performance by Baby Lasagna (HRV24) and Käärijä (FIN23), and Nemo (CHE24) will present his new song Unexplainable.

The venue and presenters

The evening will be hosted by three presenters from the Eurovision Song Contest 2025: Swiss comedian and TV presenter Hazel Brugger, who will host all three live shows, Swiss singer and presenter Sandra Studer, who will also host all three live shows, and Swiss-Italian TV personality Michelle Hunziker, who will join them in the final.

The finals will be broadcast from two venues in 2025: the super-production will be broadcast from the St. Jakobshalle in Basel by Swiss public broadcaster SRG SSR, while the Grand Final will also see the hosts of the accompanying programmes, Mélanie Freymond and Sven Epiney, check in from the Arena Plus, which will be the extra venue.

How to vote for your favourite productions in 2025

The final will be broadcast live on several channels, including national public broadcasters and the official Eurovision YouTube channel. In the US, the contest is available via the Peacock streaming service. Viewers can vote during and after the contest for 40 minutes on the Eurovision app, by phone or SMS – viewers from non-participating countries, you can vote online, on ESC.VOTE or via the app, with their votes corresponding to one country’s votes.
