Eurovision 2025 Pre-Party Season – some to continue, some to be cancelled this year…

With the Eurovision pre-party season well underway… we’ve got you covered again with a list of Eurovision parties in which countries you should go to if you want to party to this year’s contest songs now. And we also show you which pre-parties will be left out in 2025.

Which have been…

Nordic Eurovision Party
(22 March 2025., Oslo Sentrum Scene 🇳🇴)

The first of the big Eurovision pre-parties this season will be happening in Norway. Nordic Eurovision Party aims to bring together fans of the Contest from all across the 5 Nordics lands… And anyone south of Scandinavia is most welcome to join in on the fun, too!

These countries are where you’ll find the (tied) record-holder for most Eurovision wins, and also a couple of candidates for most last-place finishes or ‘nul points’ scores. But regardless of their success in the competition, all of the Nordic nations have one thing in common – their love for the Eurovision Song Contest and its music. Those TV ratings and audience shares don’t lie!

As well as plenty of Eurovision stars (of 2025 and from Contests past) confirmed to be performing at the 2025 edition, the annual pre-party has also gathered together some big fan faves from the Nordic pre-selections. Here, you’ll be able to catch Klara Hammarström, Gothminister, Gunilla Persson, Ladybug and Queentastic, as well as Norwegian Eurovision icons Margaret Berger, Charmed and KEiiNO.

Also performing is Sandra Kim, who gets to return to the country from which she won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1986, for Belgium. Love that for her.

Eurovision In Concert
(5 April 2025., AFAS Live in Amsterdam 🇳🇱)

It’s been happening since 2009 and is undoubtedly bigger than ever today, with a Voyage to the Dutch capital having become appointment travel in the Eurovision calendar for many.

Anyone travelling to Amsterdam for the event this year will not be disappointed. On the first Saturday of April, Eurovision In Concert will be bringing audiences a whopping 27 of our Basel 2025 lineup of artists… And that’s just who’s been announced so far!

What’s more, that stellar galaxy of stars from the 69th Eurovision Song Contest is only the evening part of the show. Eurovision In Concert are also hosting a pre-show party that starts on the Saturday afternoon, and will feature performances by Eurovision greats such as Imaani, Serhat and Konstrakta.

The Warm-Up Concert will be hosted by Krista Siegfrids, who loves the Eurovision Song Contest almost as much as, well, us. And with a live performance of We Will Rave by Kaleen guaranteed, the foreshadowing for that evening concert really couldn’t be any more promising!

…which now follow…

MancHagen Eurovision Festival
(10-12 April 2025., Cruz 101 and Depot Mayfield, Manchester 🇬🇧)

After last year’s debut on the Eurovision pre-party scene, MalmöHagen has sailed west across the North Sea and rebranded as MancHagen for 2025. And the name isn’t the only thing that’s rebranded… When a Eurovision party just isn’t enough to scrath that itch inside a fan’s dancing shoes, a Eurovision Festival it is, then!

Across three nights in April, the event will not only be offering plenty of Eurovision-themed entertainment to enjoy, but will also be ensuring that all profits are donated to no less than 7 charities across the globe, from the UK to Denmark and Ukraine.

There’ll be an opening party on the Thursday, a panel talk and a concert on the Friday and a jam-packed day-to-night programme on the Saturday. To peruse the full lineup of everything on offer in the bustling British city, you can take a look at the MancHagen website.

And as well as there being a whole host of Eurovision names on the bill, MancHagen has also put together an impressive constellation of stars from RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, including Eurovision 2024 Turquoise Carpet correspondent Tia Kofi.

London Eurovision Party
(Sunday 13 April, HERE @ Outernet London 🇬🇧)

OMG it’s LEP the OG of the ESC pre-party scene!

Whether you’re old enough to remember when it came to us from the Scala in King’s Cross, or you’re so young that you assume Café De Paris is where Louane enjoys her daily croissant, London Eurovision Party should be three words familiar to any UK-based fan of the Contest. The 16th edition will be happening on the second Sunday in April, in Central London.

Lots of the Basel 2025 lineup have been announced so far, with more names set to be revealed in the coming weeks. And the organisers have already unveiled one pleasant-surprise addition to the lineup, that has upped the ‘camp’ factor of the event quite considerably…

To mark the 10th anniversary of the duo representing the United Kingdom at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna, London Eurovision Party have tracked down Electro Velvet and persuaded them to give Still In Love With You another outing – at Outernet!

PrePartyES
(17-19 April 2025., Sala La Riviera in Madrid 🇪🇸)

The originators of the three-night Eurovision pre-party celebration, PrePartyES will be the last stop on our pre-party trail through Europe ahead of Basel in May. And a visit to the Spanish capital will ensure that this chapter of the season will absolutely end on a high.

Divas who are ‘sencilla’, ‘valiente’ or ‘poderosa’ are all welcome… As are the ‘zorristas’, of course.

On the first night of play, Thursday, attendees can look forward to an opening party of only the best ‘bopazos’. Then, the Friday-night concert is heavily focused on artists from Spain’s Eurovision pre-selection Benidorm Fest, with some Eurovision fan faves in the mix, too.

Then, on the closing night, it’s the big one; the Saturday-night concert featuring the artists of Basel 2025, alongside some special guests. Remember to pace yourself, however – the Spanish love to party until stylishly late. So a pre-fiesta siesta is recommended. When in Madrid! Or however that saying goes…

… and there is one that is cancelled this year!

Barcelona Eurovision Party
(27-29. March, 2025., 🇪🇸)

On the evening of 2 March 2025, the organisers of the Barcelona Eurovision Party announced that the Barcelona Eurovision Party 2025, scheduled to take place from 27 to 29 March, will be cancelled – the event was first held in 2022 and has been held three times in the Spanish capital.

The organisers have issued the following announcement:

“Dear Eurofans,

It is with a heavy heart that we announce that the Barcelona Eurovision party will not take place this year.

Our goal has always been to deliver an unforgettable show and to elevate the event to new heights, including a move to a more central venue. However, despite our best efforts and due to circumstances beyond our control, we were unable to secure a suitable date at any venue in Barcelina – be it theatres, clubs or concert halls.

We understand how disappointing this news is, and we sincerely apologise to the Eurovision community for not being able to bring the magic of our to you this year.

We truly appreciate your support and understanding, and we are already working hard to come back in 2016 with the biggest and most affordable Barcelona Eurovision Party yet.”

The event, which took place before last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, was attended by more than 6,000 people over three days, according to Catalan News.
