Semi-Final Allocational Draw 2025 – the result of the Eurovision Song Contest – Basel 2025 event
Here are the results of the semi-final draws for 2025 – The Semi-Final Allocation Draw 2025 which took place at the University of Applied Sciences in Grisons on the afternoon of 28 January 2025, deciding which participating countries will compete and vote in which semi-final, and opening the live streamed ceremony, the baton of the host city was passed from former host Malmö to our Swedish friends.
Voting in the Semi-Finals
The “Big 5” countries (France, Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK) are not in the Semi-Finals, and this year’s reigning champion Switzerland is not either, but it was decided at random which semi-finalists each country could vote for. The exact order of the semi-finals will be decided by the producers at a later date.

The Grand Final takes place on Saturday 17 May, 21:00 CEST.
The Semi-Final lineups were determined randomly by drawing countries from 6 pots (based on historical voting patterns) to determine in which Semi-Final (and which half of that show) they would compete in.
