There’s a slightly different way to support your favourites in the Junior Eurovision 2024 vote this November – the process remains essentially the same, but there’s still something to keep an eye on; here’s how to vote for your favourites in Madrid.

The two-round voting system for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will remain, but in 2024 you will have a shorter period of time due to the specificity of the competition in Spain. You can continue to find the nominees on the JESC.TV website, where you can first view the stage previews of the competing productions and then vote for your three (3) favourite competition songs from Madrid. It is still possible to vote for your country’s entry, regardless of whether or not you are taking part in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2024.

Also in 2024, the result of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest will be determined by a combination of votes from international viewers (50% of the total points) and votes from national juries (50% of the total points); you can cast your vote at the following two voting windows:

Junior Eurovision 2024 voting – Round 1

The first voting window opens on Friday 15 November at 21:00 and closes on Sunday 16 November at 17:59, just before the Junior Eurovision live broadcast from Madrid. The first round of voting is therefore shorter in 2024 – if you want to support your favourites in the first voting window, you now have just 21 hours to do so because of the live show on Saturday.

Junior Eurovision 2024 voting – Round 2

The second voting window will open after the last song (the 17th in the order) has been played during the Junior Eurovision 2024 broadcast. You then have about 15 minutes to submit your vote before the window closes.

The votes are converted into points and made public during the show by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU).
