Tickets for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest went on sale on Thursday 7 April 2022 at 10:00 (CEST), but the 66th edition of the contest sold out in almost a day for both the public rehearsals and the live broadcasts. In this article, we try to give you some answers and tips on why, how to buy tickets and how to buy them officially.

In 2022, tickets for a total of 9 shows were available through the Italian TicketOne system. Tickets for the Semi-Finals and Grand Finals of the Eurovision Song Contest in Turin, as well as for the Jury Final and the Family Show, which are open to the public, were made available on 7 April 2022, but the official ticketing website did not offer tickets for many of the rehearsals before midday that day. The European Broadcasting Union (EBU) announced on the official Eurovision Song Contest website, Eurovision.tv, that only tickets for the family rehearsals on the day of the contest were still available.

All rehearsals and live shows will take place at the PalaOlimpico stadium (Corso Sebastopoli, 123, 10134, Turin, Italy) from 9 to 14 May 2022.

The Jury Show is a full run through of the show that takes place the night before the televised version. It’s when the international juries cast their votes for the participants.

The Family Show is a full run through of the show that takes place earlier in the day of the Live TV Show; it serves as one final rehearsal for the artists and crew, and as the name suggests, it’s much more convenient for those who wish to bring younger Eurovision fans.

The Live TV Show is exactly that: a live television show. Audiences across Europe (and Australia) will get to cast their votes to add to the Jury scores.

As a help, TicketOne has also provided a ticket map for each ticket category – to make it easier to choose (to be published soon).

In the early afternoon of 27 April 2022, RAI and Eurovision.tv announced that, despite all shows being sold out, it is still possible to buy tickets for the 2022 Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place from 9 to 14 May at the Pala Olimpico in Turin. On Thursday 28 April, from 10 am onwards, tickets will be available for pre-sale on the Ticketone website: once registered, a user can buy up to four tickets for each show.

It is important to note that the vouchers will include the name of the purchaser (only one name change is allowed) and the price will vary depending on the show, location and stage visibility.
